There is waaay too much to tell you guys, but in short, I got there with my cousin (Isaac) and ~
FullmetalApollo, and then we hiked up a snowy hill into a lodge, dropped off our luggage in our dorms, and went downstairs and drank Glögg. Mine and Apollo's was without alcohol, but Isaac's was with; he let us sip it, and it tasted AWFUL, so he dumped it in the snow and it looked like a crime scene, since Glögg is red. 'TWAS HILARIOUS, so I took a picture. c:
After dinner, there was dancing. It lasted until about midnight, and it was really fun, even though Apollo went to bed early and Isaac mainly danced with Jessica, so I didn't get asked by too many people. Plus I had a small meltdown in a chair next to Mari because we had been talking about my dad, and it all just kind of came out in a sudden burst of tears, but she was kind and stayed there and massaged my back. Dave sat down next to me, asked if I was sick or crying, and then told me that he understood - the first Christmas without his dad sucked, too. But all in all, dancing was fun, and I learned some new steps! I also tried to teach my uncle how to waltz. He wasn't bad, but...
He wasn't spectacular.
There was a pretty good-looking guy there (who was Jessica's ex-boyfriend, but we won't go into that) who I danced with in the mixer dances, and he enjoyed making eye-contact with his partners, which was very embarrassing for me. I tried, but I just kept giggling and looking away.
*failsforever* Then I told him I was sorry, I was just shy, and he just laughed. BAAAW someday I will be awesome enough to hold eye contact during dances. :I
Went to bed, where there was no heating, which I had heard about previously, so I was expecting to freeze my butt off but it was actually to hot at one point. Apollo accidentally kicked her bag off her second-bunk and onto the floor in the middle of the night, which was loud, but at least we weren't on the third-bunk like we had originally been planning.
THAT would've been loud!
Was woken up by Apollo telling me I was late to breakfast. |D;; Ran down in my pajamas and ate some fruit and French toast and a granola bar. When I finished, Jessica, Isaac, Apollo, and I all suited up in warm clothes and raced outside with sleds and went for the hill. Isaac and Jessica got to the top, but Apollo and I stopped halfway because we were tired.
BUT we found half an igloo, so we tried to continue building it so it could become the "ドイツ イタリア" (Germany Italy) snow fort. Our hands started to freeze and small children came over and got into a mini snowball fight with Apollo, so instead we decided we'd sled down from the halfway point of the hill. Got to the bottom and people told us to get to the top and go, so we did. And we wiped out. And the sled ran over my left leg.
'TWAS AWESOME. And then we got back on the sled and went down the rest of the way, and we went so fast that snow hit us in the face.
Cold and craving hot cocoa, we headed back for the lodge, which was difficult and required assistance on both our parts since one step landed you knee-to-thigh-deep in snow. We took off our wet clothes and left on our dry underthings and ran upstairs, made some hot cocoa, and sat down at a table and looked outside, trying to watch the others sled. When that failed, we watched some videos on Apollo's phone. We went up into our dorm to snuggle into our sleeping bags and get warm(er) and draw. Along comes Isaac, asking if I had a camera so I could take a video and picture of him back-flipping off the roof into the snow. I did, and it was silly, because the snow did not give way when he jumped in.
SO LAWL. But he wasn't injured, don't worry.
We played cards for a little while, figured out our plans, and then packed up our stuff. Before leaving, we heard The Lion King, so Apollo, myself, Isaac, and Jessica all crammed into a small room with a child that we didn't know so we could watch the last ten minutes of that video. We would not allow Jessica to leave until it was done, no matter how much her grandparents begged.
When it was over, we hiked back down the mountain, where Apollo took a pretty nasty spill (and besides an injured butt, she is alright!), and then we hopped in the car and headed home.
All in all, it was an absolute BLAST and Apollo and I made some pretty awesome inside jokes (DOITSU, I AM SENDING YOU YOUR LOVELY THONGS IN THE MAIL, SO PLEASE RETURN MY GOLDEN TOMATO), everybody froze and then defrosted multiple times, we discovered the scandalous balcony that leads out of the girls dorm and into the guys, we met new people, and laughed a lot.
I am so going again next year~!

But our family will be wearing "Swine-flu masks" onto the plane, so as to avoid catching anything worse on the way there, because that would SUCK basically.
LEAVING FOR CALI IN FOUR DAYS GUYS YOU DON'T KNOW HOW EXCITED I AM 
(but that also means the play is in three days... MUST MEMORIZE LINESSSS). Also, I think we're going caroling in the next twenty-four hours or so, which I am UBER-EXCITED about. Caroling last year was FABULOUS and THRILLING (?) so I am excited to go again this year.
UHH ANY PICTURES YOU GUYS WANT ME TO TAKE AT DISNEYLAND? TELL ME NOW, BEFORE I LEAVE. I think we're also hitting all/most/some of the following: Lego-Land, Sea-World, Six Flags, Knott's Berry Farm, Medieval Times, something like Medieval Times except it's pirates, AND a beach. c: So if you want any photos from THOSE places, TELL MEH. I will pack LOADS of batteries so I'll never run out of power.
Apparently, my brother is taking us to the theater in California Adventure on Christmas so we can go see Sherlock Holmes. Half-excited (
OH JOY, SHERLOCK
plus robert downey jr. is a sexy beast lol) and half-UGGGH (it looks pretty modern-ish, but maybe I haven't been paying close enough attention or something). EITHER WAY, it's a movie, and it's in California Adventure, and it's with my bro and our family, so I don't really care what we see.
unless it's new moon then i will punch something 
ANYWAY sorry for this UBER-LONG POST. I will check the internet at least once more before I leave, so I can wish you all Christmas greetings and whatnot. See you all later~!
